The beautiful trees we enjoyed this summer are losing their leaves very quickly. The city we live in, St. Matthews, collects leaves once a year at the street. No bagging yesterday, just pile them at the street. Our very sweet neighbor offered us their leaf blower to get our leaves piled at the street. I borrowed the leaf blower this afternoon. Here are a couple of pictures.
This is the pile at the street.

As far as I am concerned the backyard will probably stay unkempt. Here's a picture for comparison. The backyard is as bad as the front yard was before I blew leaves for an hour.

What makes it rough is there are still more leaves to fall...
